Martin Dougiamas is best known as the founder of Moodle, and leading the team of software developers at  the heart of the Moodle project. Martin has a mixed academic background in Computer Science and Education, and his major goal for the future is to improve the quality of education by encouraging social constructionist and collaborative practices within online learning communities.

Michelle Chawla

Michelle ChawlaOpen Source Practitioner & Educator

Michelle Chawla is an open source practitioner and educator running the Tamarind Tree School in Dahanu, Maharashtra, India. Tamarind Tree in an alternative school working with first generation tribal learners at the Primary level.
The school is driven by open source technologies and Tamarind Tree is pioneering the Moodle based learning management system in India for Primary level learning. Tamarind Tree hosts its own Moodle server at My Big Campus  and school is conducted in a blended learning style with students logging into their moodle curriculum along with a facilitator. Digital curriculum is designed in a participatory and contextual manner, making learning relevant and joyful for young children.

Having always enjoyed teaching and learning. He have more than 90 scientific publications in National and International Journals. He is one of the contributing editor of MedEdWorld & Executive Editor of National journal of Integrated research in medicine.

Dr. GRK Ramakrishna

Senior Scientist, NAARM

Dr Murthy started his career as Scientist at DRR, Hyderabad, in 1993 and served there for eight years. Later he joined IIT, Kharagpur, as Assistant Professor and worked for an year. Then he moved to NAARM and is working as Senior Scientist since 2004. He is having keen interest in E-Learning, Networking and Applications.

Dr. Indranil Mallick

Tata Medical Center, Kolkata
Dr. Indranil Mallick has done his MD in Radiotherapy from PGIMER, Chandigarh in the year 2005. He is having a special interest in education and coordinate the training Fellowship programme. He is using Moodle to teach on advanced modality called Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT).

Dr. N S Rajput

Assistant Professor, IIT-BHU

Dr. N S Rajput is the Principal Investigator of R&D and Technology Extension Laboratory for Networked Communication and Computation (NCC LAB), IITBHU. He has over 14+ years of leadership, academic and research experience. His areas of research interest are Artificial Intelligence and Pattern Recognition on Big Data, Sensor Networks, Network Security Systems, High Altitude Platforms, and robotics.

Jayakrishnan Madathil

Research Scholar at IIT, Bombay

A research scholar with a keen interest in projects related to use of Information and Communication Technologies for Development of Education (ICT4DE). His passion includes working on ICT based Teaching-Learning solutions.

Mihir Thakkar

GSoC Student

Mihir Thakkar still a student but created a lot of projects through his coding skills. In Google Summer of Code 2015 he has participated for Moodle and improved the Meta Enrol plugin which allows linking multiple courses (at a time) which automates and synchronizes student enrolments, and therefore significantly reduces the teacher's work.

Ravi Murugesan

Ravi is an administrator and teacher on INASP Moodle which is an international development charity in the UK. He is one of the few MCCC holders in India and has presented in the recent iMoot 2015.

Farhan works for the IOU as a Moodle programmer, He also works on a freelance basis with other companies on Moodle projects. Farhan has over 5 years of experience in Moodle and is a very active member of the Moodle online community. He has presented in iMoot 2014 and has a certificate in Moodle development course from HRDNZ.
